We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Lily and Ollie’s home. The barn was luxurious with modern kitchen, lovely bed linen and beautiful decor. It was large enough to host two families and well set up for small children. The Roseland peninsula is our favourite part of Cornwall, with loads of lovely beaches and country walks. Had a great holiday, Bay Tree barn is a hidden gem. Beds very comfortable. Neighbours in the shared courtyard friendly and helpful. Appreciated having the air fryer. Plenty of room for our party of 4 adults, 1 teenager and 2 Labrador’s.We visited the Hidden Hut for lunch having read the book that Lily left in the kitchen, this is a must visit as is the beach that it sits behind. Lily and Ollie were great hosts and the property was perfect for a family getaway. It was clean and tidy, with all the amenities you're likely to need, along with some extra personal touches. Lily's place was everything like the photos and more! It was immaculate and very homely. My family and I had a great stay at Lily's place and we would highly recommend! The location is well placed to reach some stunning Cornish hotspots! We were after a perfect location for our 3 children to explore the beaches, ports, and treasures of Roseland. Bay Tree Barn is perfect! It is a magical home in an idyllic farm setting, c.15min drive from everything we needed. We were warmly welcomed by friendly yet unobtrusive neighbours who share the u-shaped courtyard and beautiful grounds. The welcome hamper was a treat, and plenty of space for all our things. The cottage balances traditional design with state-of-the-art appliances; everything we needed for a great holiday. The comfy beds are a little hard to leave in the morning; help is provided by fresh coffee from the stove-top coffee maker and power-shower! The utility room is useful for long days out on the beach. Hosts Lily and Olly were great at responding to questions, providing clear instructions and local information. We wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing for our family; Bay Tree Barn more than delivered. We would highly recommend and love to come back sometime.
